Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actress best known for her portrayal of Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of the AMC's period drama series Mad Men (2007-2015). Her performance in the show won her critical appreciation as well as an impressive six Emmy award nominations in the category of best support actress class. Over the course of her career of 20 years, she was recognized for her performance in comedy and drama Another Period, a crime drama titled Tin Star. Her most well-known work is her roles on Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey at Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. Additionally, she's lent her voice in animation films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. She began her career as was a model who had a lot of success. Following a time she continued her modeling career up to 1999, when Undressed became her first role as an actor on television. Her first substantial role came in the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her role in the hit show Firefly. She was in 2010 voted one of the hottest women around the globe and was named the best-looking woman within America by Esquire magazine.
