Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born 16 March, 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She has been on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011after having appeared in bits in several Irish television shows and British shows since the year the year 2009. Bea began performing frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms later in the year. Following her win in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for various panel shows where she has become a fixture. In 2016, and in 2017, she served as a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also an actress on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. In 2012, she was the second woman to ever be awarded the So You Believe That You're Funny award. Bea is her surname in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who committed suicide when Bea was just three years old. She wasn't told about how he died until she turned 13. Bea was her stage name. Bea was a tribute for her father. Bea was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017 about her experiences with suicide. Bea was raised alongside her younger sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and a former professional racer. The family was in love with horses and race meetings. Bea started out her career as a tour-guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that the racing industry wasn't the right fit for her.
