Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is most well-known for his role in the film 'Birdman. Keaton's versatile acting skills make him proficient in both comedy and dramatic. He also has played a few romantic characters and appeared in several action thrillers throughout his career. His interest in the performing arts began in his teens. He attempted stand-up comedy in his early 20s. It was not a successful stand-up career, however it was a step to pursue an acting career. After failing to be an actor, he began working at the Satellite station, as a television crew participant. The job at the station was the first time he realized that he truly wanted to appear before cameras. After landing a job on TV, he starred in numerous episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The actor was naturally talented and became very popular in the world of television. His early films He had a lot of ambitions and gained acclaim for his comic roles. The actor gained more fame when he played Batman, the titular superhero in Tim Burton's Batman. With time he matured in his acting skills and ventured into production and direction. His performance in 2014 as Birdman garnered him many awards and nods.
