After finishing high school in 2005, she relocated with her mother to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Her acting debut was in the romantic comedy Music and Lyrics, starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. She sang a number of songs on the soundtrack, as well as her acting part.
